Description: Cow Calf Special Sale! FRIDAY May 3 2024 we are excited to host a special cow calf sale, with over 200 Pairs booked. Sale time is at 1 pm, internet bidding through DLMS will be available. Complimentary lunch will be avaliable. Consignments include; John Slingerland Farms full dispersal. 75 pairs, 90% blk, 10% Red 10x first calf hfrs, 15x 2nd calvers, 15x 3rd calvers, 35xmid age cows SK Cattle Co 30 pairs, 95% BBF, 5% Blk 4x hfrs, 3x 2nd calvers, 25x mid age cows Dan Slingerland 18x red simmi X 6x hfrs, 6x 2nd calvers, 6x 3rd calvers Tempest Red Angus 20x red angus pairs, range from hfr to mature 2x red Simmental breeding bulls. The above pairs were all run as one group, just being sold as family ownerships . Hfrs were all bred to Tempest Red angus bulls, cow herd was bred to red simmental bulls. Calves were born Feb 25-May 1. At Birth all calves received enforce 3 and first defence bolus, bull calves were banded. Cows received FP5, 8 way, back line pour on, scour Bos 9 last fall.
